Green Diabase extracted from the Alanya–Demirtaş quarries is a volcanic stone of magmatic origin. With a hardness rating of 7, it offers a structure that is harder than many granites and is quarried in natural blocks with a uniform green color. Its low water absorption makes Green Diabase an ideal material for swimming pool applications; it maintains its color and texture integrity for years in hotel pools and resort projects, without staining or discoloration.

Its exceptional durability makes Green Diabase a versatile choice for both interior and exterior applications. It is widely used in building facades, landscape designs, walkways, and road pavements exposed to vehicle traffic.

Different surface finishes can be applied depending on the area of use; polished finishes are preferred for swimming pools, while sandblasted and patinated (anti-slip) or bush-hammered surfaces are used for pool edges. For landscape and facade applications, sandblasted or patinated finishes are commonly selected. Although block and slab production is not available, this volcanic stone can be cut to size and can be safely used in all types of projects requiring high durability.
